Paint a fun knife painting with Fawn!
You will need a support: canvas panel or wooden hardboard (11 x 14 inches is what she is using).
Use sand paper (fine grade) to smooth the board.  If using hardboard, prime it with 2 coats of gesso. Let it dry and sand it between coats.  You can add color to the primer, or paint it gray it after it dries. A hair dryer can speed up the process!  Use acrylic tube paints instead of craft paints, as they are thicker and work better.  And of course you will need a palette knife!
You can use colors of your preference, but the colors she recommends for this painting are:
White, cadmium yellow light, red oxide (or burnt sienna), burnt umber, ultramarine blue, and phthalocyanine blue.
Enjoy!
